Evocati Joins More Than 100 Organizations in Letter to President Biden and Congress Calling for Greater Support for Afghan Allies

Yesterday Evocati's president & founder, Barrett Y. Bogue, joined more than 250 veterans and more than 100 organizations in signing a joint letter to Congress and President Biden calling for continued support of Afghan allies both at home and still abroad. Among their requests, the signatories asked that the Biden Administration to appoint “an interagency leader with tasking authority, oversight responsibility, and a dedicated staff to develop and implement a multi-year, actionable plan for evacuating our Afghan allies …" The letter was covered by NBC News and Military Times and ends with a call-to-action for our political leaders stating,

"Now is not the time to retreat to predictable partisan corners. This is a time to stand together, united in our shared belief that the promise of America remains worth preserving. The Afghans who stood alongside our troops, diplomats, and other American interests in Afghanistan have been, and will forever remain, welcome in our communities."

Americans interested in supporting our Afghan allies are encouraged to sign the letter here.
