EVOCATI’S CLIENT SOLDIERS’ ANGELS ISSUES URGENT CALL TO SUPPORT SERVICE MEMBERS AND AFGHAN REFUGEES

Washington, D.C. - The national nonprofit organization Soldiers' Angels and company client is in immediate need of donations as they answer the call from military installations to support service members and Afghan refugees.
This week, Soldiers’ Angels was contacted by multiple military installations to provide needed items as they welcome and prepare for thousands of Afghan refugees. Additionally, they asked Soldiers’ Angels to provide support for the deploying service members and those currently on the ground in Afghanistan.
“Our hearts break for the Afghan community and for the members of the military-connected community who are hurting right now,” said Amy Palmer, President and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels. “As the situation continues to unfold in Afghanistan, Soldiers’ Angels will live up to our mission by supporting Afghan refugees, as well as the service members who are deploying to help them.”
To meet this immediate need, Soldiers’ Angels is calling on the community and its Angel Volunteers across America for donations. The donations will be used toward providing a variety of support, including:
Refugee support packages that include new clothing for adults and children, hygiene products, and masks for adults and children
Toys and games for Afghan children arriving in America as well as for those waiting to be processed
Care packages for service members deployed in support of the withdrawal from Afghanistan
Those interested in helping provide this urgently needed support can make either a monetary or item donation. Items to be donated can be found here and shipped directly to Soldiers’ Angels headquarters office in San Antonio, TX as follows:

Monetary donations can be made here. All proceeds from this effort will help our military service members personally and will also help them help others as we continue navigating this crisis.
