Evocati Welcomes New Senior Creative Director, Public Relations Apprentice to Company
Laura Bingham and Dylan Steadman join the growing veteran-owned public relations firm
Tysons, VA - Evocati today welcomed two new members to its growing team—Laura Bingham as Senior Creative Director and Dylan Steadman as Public Relations Apprentice—to support the clients of the purpose-driven public relations firm.
“As a firm with historical ties to the military-connected community, I’m excited about the opportunity to welcome Laura and Dylan to our team,” said Barrett Y. Bogue, President & Founder at Evocati. ”Laura is a proud military spouse with more than a decade of experience in the industry. Dylan is a current U.S. Marine and undergraduate student with a passion for public relations. Both will provide a great deal of leadership, insight, and expertise to our clients.”
Founded in 2018, Evocati is a public relations (PR) firm that partners with leading businesses to research, market, and grow their impact through purpose-driven PR. Based in the Washington, D.C.-area, and with virtual communications experts around the country, Evocati is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business whose mission serving underrepresented communities is personal—its team members include veterans, military spouses, and the children of those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
With more than sixteen years of experience in graphic design and interactive media, Bingham will serve in a strategic leadership role, telling the story of Evocati’s clients while growing the company’s brand, marketing, and education efforts. She is a military spouse to an Army Aviation Officer and co-founder of the Colorado Veterans Project (CVP), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that hosts special events to raise awareness and funds for local veterans and veteran organizations. Since CVP’s inception, she has served an integral role in helping it grow to host major fundraising events throughout the year—some totaling over 40,000 attendees—as well as helping CVP raise over $1.6 million and distribute over 173,000 pounds of food for Colorado veterans experiencing homelessness. Bingham lives in Littleton, Colorado, with her husband, two dogs, and five chickens.
“I am honored and excited to be a part of this stellar team! Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with nonprofits and businesses from all walks of life, but I especially enjoy working with the military-connected community—serving those who have served and sacrificed for our country. I hope to bring a fresh perspective, and I feel grateful to be part of a team that shares my values of inclusivity, integrity, and empathy,” said Bingham.
A native of Selah, Washington, Steadman currently serves as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and is a student at Washington State University studying business and communications. He joins Evocati as the firm’s first Public Relations Apprentice and intends to tap into his military family and personal service to meet the unique needs of the company’s military/veteran and underserved community clients. Outside of his classroom and work efforts, Steadman is often cooking, playing with his German Shepherd, Rocco, or enjoying time outdoors.
"I am very excited to join the growing team at Evocati. Throughout my life, service members have been near and dear to me and my professional and personal development. I am deeply devoted to giving back to our military communities and other underserved communities," said Steadman.
Evocati's previous and current clients include Veterans Education Success, The College Board, Veterans at Zoom, Soldiers’ Angels, Fayetteville State University, and the National Potato Council, among others.
